Many offer alternative therapies in addition to accommodation. Self-catering accommodation is also available in the town with more to be found in the surrounding area. There are also several camping and caravan sites nearby. There is certainly no shortage of places to stay in Glastonbury.

Mapleleaf & Middlewick Cottages offer eight well-equipped self-catering cottages and the use of an indoor swimming pool. There is also B&B; available. Stabling is also provided for those who would like to bring their own horse.

Glastonbury Festival

While you are staying in Glastonbury you may want to visit the ruins of the historic Glastonbury Abbey, or walk around the Chalice Well Gardens, for a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside take a walk to the top of Glastonbury Tor. The town of Glastonbury is full of arts and crafts shops. There are a number of New Age shops selling crystals and books on alternative health and so on.

Accommodation in Glastonbury can get very booked up at the time of the Glastonbury Festival at the end of June, so be sure to book well in advance if you are planning to stay in Glastonbury at this time.
